There you will see four holes in the damn with a little swim you can swim out to these once there you can jump from one hole (channel) to the next. This will give you a great sniper spot of the near by flag and plenty of cover from enemy fire. Plus you can easily make a fast get away if they do spot you. Even artillery will have a tough time nailing you here.
